Ahmed started his Marine Surveying company (known as ABTE) in October 1997, with offices in Jeddah and Dammam, employing both Master Mariners and Marine Engineers.

Ahmed was the first registered Saudi Surveyor and has built up a solid reputation in the Marine market.

More recently, AOBTCo diversified into the Non Marine Loss Adjusting profession and has opened a fully staffed and dedicated Non Marine office in Riyadh, which complements the existing facilities in the other two branches in Jeddah and Dammam.

The company now has the capability to offer fully comprehensive "One Stop" Claims and Survey services throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

To improve the quality of life of our patients by providing an innovative approach to total care including preventive, promotional, curative, supportive and rehabilitative care in order to help restore and/or maintain functional ability when possible, and to decrease the rate of functional decline when not.

To be identified as a leader in extended care by meeting the diverse needs of individuals with disabilities and/or degenerative diseases who require medical care over long durations.

AOBTCO is a leading Marine and Engineering survey company, licensed by Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) which authorises the company to undertake both Marine and non-Marine Surveys in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Established in October 1997, as ABTE, (Ahmed Badhidouh Trading Establishment), the company was reformed as a limited company AOBTCo (Ahmed Omar Badhidouh & Partners Trading Company Limited), in August 2000.

Later, the company diversified into Property, Pecuniary & Liability claims handling and adjustments, receiving instructions from all the leading composite Insurers in Saudi Arabia, GCC, and other countries in the Middle East.

The aim of AOBTCo. is to offer high standards of competitive, prompt and above all, professional services in the provision of:-

  • Independent marine and engineering surveys
  • Marine and non-marine claims handling and Loss Adjustments
  • Insurance risk and consultancy services

The company has offices in Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam to provide professional services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The marine surveyors have either Master Mariner or Chief Engineer status. All have accumulated substantial seagoing experience on a wide range of vessels and are able to cover all aspects of the marine field.

The surveyors maintain current visas to facilitate travel outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, if required, for emergency or major casualty work.
